Zai Lab has registered an F-1 form with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regarding its initial public offering (IPO). As part of that effort, Zai Lab has assembled a management team with global experience and an extensive track record in navigating the regulatory process to develop and commercialize innovative drugs in China.

When Target Corp. (NYSE: TGT) reported its fiscal second-quarter financial results before the market opened on Wednesday, the retailer said that it had $1.23 in earnings per share (EPS) and $16.43 billion in revenue.

On the books, Target’s cash and cash equivalents totaled $2.29 billion at the end of the quarter, down from $2.51 billion at the end of the previous fiscal year.

US Air Force Revs Up for ThunderDrone [0.03]

At a competition last week at New Mexico’s Holloman Air Force Base, the U.S. Air Force kicked off its Light Attack Experiment, an effort to find a low-cost, light-attack fighter plane that would require reasonably little work to develop. At the event, Air Force Secretary Heather Wilson announced that the service is “going to have a big competition” soon, “a rapid prototyping event, … to investigate swarms and platforms and effects and data science of small unmanned aerial vehicles.” It’s name is ThunderDrone.

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) and the staff of the Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT) issued a report Tuesday on the effect of terminating payments of cost-sharing reductions (CSRs) to health insurers as required under the Affordable Care Act (ACA), or Obamacare.

According to CBO and JCT’s projections, for single policyholders, gross premiums (that is, before premium tax credits are accounted for) for silver plans offered through the marketplaces would, on average, rise by about 20% in 2018 relative to the amount in CBO’s March 2016 baseline and rise slightly more in later years.
