Exxon Mobil (NYSE:XOM) has had a disappointing year so far with the stock falling from north of $90 in Jan to $80.21 now. Exxon has been consistently trading well below the 200-day simple moving average and is finding it hard to sustain above the 50-day SMA of $81.02 as well.

General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC Re), the government-owned general reinsurer, has filed a draft red herring prospectus with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) to list its shares through an (IPO).

It is the first government-owned non-life insurance company to file a prospectus.

Ford (NYSE:F) announced July 2017 U.S. vehicle sales of nearly 200K, down 7.5% from the same month in 2016. For the year, Ford has sold approximately 1.5 million vehicles which is a 4.3% decline compared to 2016.

Sebi may extend trading hours for derivatives market [0.07]

In a bid to bring back some of the lost zing, the regulator, the (Sebi), is looking to extend the trading hours for the Sources said was considering if trading in index futures could be kept open even after the cash market closed.

Sources said key feedback received by was that derivatives trading, particularly index futures, could be delinked and allowed to trade beyond cash market hours.
